Re Elect Chris Fielder, Mayor

Re Elect Chris Fielder
Together we will make a difference!

I am running for Re Election to the Office of Mayor first and foremost because I believe elections are about the People and not the Candidates. I feel I am the right person for the job to continue to represent the City of Leander. I want to keep Leander competitive for Home Builders, competitive on our tax rate so we can continue to spur economic development.

I believe:

  • In the Support of our Military and Veterans. When you hear the words “Land of the free and home of the brave” we need to thank our Military
  • In Transparency in Government, the Citizens need to know how your money is being spent. We now have our City Check Register online for all to view
  • Preservation of our Water and Wastewater, I am the past President of the Brushy Creek Regional Utility Authority and will look out for Leander’s interest.
  • Protecting our Children, I sit on the Board of the Williamson County Children’s Advocacy Center
  • Economic Development , finding ways to attract more businesses to Leander
  • Allowing the Citizens of Leander to interact with their Mayor and Elected Officials though my quarterly Lunch with the Mayor.
  • Supporting our School System through LISD to find ways to work more closely together

I want to continue to focus my efforts on showing the Citizens of Leander that I am the best person for the job of Mayor!

“I look forward to this exciting time in the history of Leander.”
